Weekly PIMAR Reports
Pursuant to Hawaii Revised Statutes (“HRS”) Chapter 486J, as amended, under the Petroleum Industry Monitoring, Analysis and Reporting (“PIMAR”) Program, the Public Utilities Commission (“PUC”) is required to collect information on a weekly basis from every petroleum industry distributor and major fuel user, as defined in HRS Chapter 486J. The PUC must also disclose the information using the best readily available technology within fourteen (14) days from the reporting dates it establishes. However, confidential commercial information the reporting entities file with the PUC must be held in confidence or aggregated to the extent necessary to ensure confidentiality.
Accordingly, effective September 5, 2007, and on every Wednesday thereafter, the PUC will be posting onto its website reports that will reflect certain non-confidential and aggregated information, compiled from weekly PIMAR reports that distributors and major fuel users began filing with the PUC on August 22, 2007. The PUC's reports are provided below.
Data from prior Weekly PIMAR Reports are collected in time series format in a Microsoft Excel (.xls) file available at the bottom of this page.
