CANDIDATE FILING SYSTEM
All
candidates must file reports
electronically on the web-based Candidate Filing System (CFS), effective
with the report due on July 31, 2008, covering the period of January 1
through June 30, 2008. There will no longer be any
exceptions or waivers.
Any candidate
currently required to file electronically must continue to do so with
the report due January 31, 2008. The
Commission provides training and technical support for those that need
assistance. If you need assistance, please call the Commission at

username and confidential password for logging into the CFS.

NONCANDIDATE COMMITTEE FILING SYSTEM
All
noncandidate committees that are required to register
(receive contributions or make expenditures of more than $1,000 in the
aggregate, in a two-year election period) must file their reports electronically
on the Noncandidate Committee Filing System (NCFS), beginning with the
report due on September 10, 2008, covering the period of January 1
through September 5, 2008.

This is an optional system used for
importing text files into the NCFS for Schedules A and B2. Schedule A
(Contributions Received) and Schedule B2
(Expenditures Made) transactions may be imported into the NCFS if the files are
in a specific file format. Please refer
