REMINDER TO CANDIDATES RECEIVING PUBLIC FUNDS FOR THE PRIMARY ELECTION THAT THE EXPENDITURES OF PUBLIC FUNDS REPORT IS DUE NO LATER THAN 11:59 P.M. HAWAII STANDARD TIME ON OCTOBER 10, 2008.
 

Reminder: Any new noncandidate committees have only two days to register with the commission after accepting contributions or making expenditures more than $1,000.  The ten day window to register will return November 5, 2008, after General Election Day.

The rail ballot issue was certified on September 3, 2008, to be on the ballot on November 4, 2008.  All ballot issue committees advocating for or against this issue that receive contributions or make expenditures aggregating more than $1,000 must register with the Commission and file periodic reports.  More… (Posted September 4, 2008)
