Audit Division

The Audit Division is responsible for performing the internal audit function assigned to the State Comptroller by the Hawaii Revised Statutes. The objective of the internal audit function is to ensure that all accounting and internal control systems of departments in the executive branch of the State government, adhere to prescribed policies and procedures and accounting principles generally accepted in the United States of America, in accordance with Section 40-2, Hawaii Revised Statutes.
