From 1998 through
2000, technical assistance was provided to the State for
drought mitigation planning.

In 2001,
approximately $210,000
in emergency drought assistance was provided for the islands
of Oahu, Molokai, and Hawaii.

Currently
providing $50,000 for DLNR water conservation planning and
$50,000 for required revisions and updating of the Hawaii
Drought Plan.
